Wyrd is both a love letter and a beacon.
It is heavily inspired by the iconic teen TV of the 90’s/00’s, the drama, the fantasy, the comedy. Every generation needs their unlikely heroes. Wyrd is a return to characters fumbling through first kisses and monster fighting.
And Wyrd is hope. We need stories about fighting tooth and nail for a better future, about community and love despite bleak circumstances. In a world that feels like it’s ending all the time, we need to see that anything can be overcome.
